An idea has no borders. Neither does Kapow. We love to set up oversea projects, so we can spread a positive message all over the world. So we can learn from others. So we can co-create and be aware. KAPOW bridged in Japan, Ghana, Peru, Morocco, Colombia, The Philippines, the RD of the Congo and many more to come.
2014 is the year we celebrated 50 years of migration. That’s why we came up with our own little exodus – movement of KAPOW people. We drove to Morocco to search a cultural exchange between us artists and Moroccans. A great success. Music, art and surf met in an extraordinary roadtrip through a beautiful landscape. Have a look at the magnificent photo documentary made by the Kapow photographer LP.
RD of the Congo
Beautiful, beautiful Africa. There is a strong connection between Kapow and RD of the Congo. We were invited with KAPOW for the first Biennale ever called ‘Yango’ in Kinshasa.
KAPOW fires up the Cebuano art scene! An art – in – the – public – space – event was created in Cebu (Philippines) to ignite interaction with the local kids on the street, artists, designers, skateboarders, dancers, passengers and more crazy souls!
